Texana’s Behavioral Healthcare Services Division provides assessment, treatment and supportive assistance to serious and persistent mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children and adolescents within Austin, Colorado, Ft. Bend, Matagorda, Waller, and Wharton counties. Treatment is based in an outpatient setting within the communities that we serve. Our goal is to promote stabilization and empower individuals to increase their success in leading functional and productive lives within their communities, in the workplace, and in their homes.
The individuals Texana is able to serve and the services they are able to receive depend on the eligibility criteria of the specific funding source used to pay for the services. Texana accepts private insurance managed care plans as well as Medicaid, Medicare, and individuals with no funding source. Texana contracts with the Department of State Health Services to provide services to individuals with no other funding source.
