Eligibility for services varies depending on the treatment option you choose.

Children’s Center for Autism – Private Pay Program

• Ages 12 months to 21 years
• There are no restrictions on the location where the child resides
• Family or school must provide transportation
• No required diagnosis unless filing for insurance reimbursement

Children’s Center for Autism – HHSC Children’s Autism Program

• Ages 3 through 8 years of age (children lose eligibility on their ninth birthday)
• Child must be a Texas resident
• Family or school must provide transportation
• A diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder is required

Professional Behavior Analysis Services

• Up to 21 years old
• There are no restrictions on the location where the child resides; however, families must reimburse for mileage. Mileage is not billable to insurance.
• No required diagnosis unless filing for insurance reimbursement
