Texana Center provides assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in nursing facilities. Our dedicated staff offers a wide range of services aimed at helping individuals maintain their current skills, learn new skills, and support them in achieving their desired quality of life.
This service helps teach people with autism and intellectual disabilities to be successful in their home and community settings.
Texana Center assists individuals with developmental disabilities in building the skills needed to obtain competitive employment in the community. Our Employment Assistance services help individuals prepare for work by completing job applications, developing resumes, and practicing interview skills. We also work closely with each person to identify employment opportunities that align with their preferences, strengths, and abilities, while collaborating with employers to ensure a good job match. Once employment is secured, Supported Employment services provide ongoing assistance to help individuals learn and successfully perform their job duties. Texana Center is a contracted Community Rehabilitation Provider for the Texas Workforce Commission.
Services are available to assist individuals in performing self-care activities, maintaining current skills, learning new skills, and transportation services.
