The Center for Advancement is a program designed to help young people and adults clear the path forward in life and prepare for competitive employment and independence by supporting them in learning:

  • Social Skills
  • Vocational Skills
  • Self-Advocacy
  • Goal setting
  • Community Engagement
  • Independent Living

Most courses are offered one day a week during the 11 week Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.  Course offerings change from semester to semester so please check in regularly for new learning opportunities (see bottom of page for links). 

Our social skills club occurs once each week and can be joined at any time to start building a path to lifetime friendships.  Course offerings include online courses and our in-person courses that are held in Fulshear, Texas. 

Individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or related disorders are welcome to join. Activities are funded through private payment, Texas Workforce Commission, grants, or scholarships.
